• Trash removal: Collection and disposal of garbage, recyclables, and food waste left by guests, vendors, or catering services.
• Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming: Thorough cleaning of all floors, including dance floors, dining areas, and hallways.
• Restroom cleaning: Sanitizing and restocking restrooms used during the event.
• Table and chair breakdown: Clearing, wiping down, and storing chairs, tables, and other rental furniture, unless otherwise handled by a separate rental company.
• Kitchen/catering area cleanup: Tidying and sanitizing prep, serving areas, and any kitchen space used.
• Surface cleaning: Wiping down bars, counters, and other surfaces, including entryways and high-traffic spots.
• Spot cleaning: Addressing spills, stains, and any accidents on floors or carpets.
• Removal of decorations: Occasionally, removal of venue-provided décor or those left behind, but most contracts expect you to remove personal decorations.
